SYDNEY DOGS AND CATS HOME VOLUNTEERS FORUM has moved to www.sdchvolunteers.proboards.com

This forum is neither affiliated with or endorsed by the Shelter and all comments are views and opinions only. -------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to a new forum for volunteers, supporters and anyone just interested in the operation of SDCH to keep in touch with each other and to share any news or thoughts they may have about the Shelter. Please feel free to comment on anything you think will be if interest as this is not just a forum for volunteers.

However if you ARE a volunteer, you may be organising a fundraiser or want to ask a question about a particular dog or cat in the Shelter and see if another volunteer will be able to answer it for you. Or perhaps you want to highlight a particular problem or concern you have and obtain the viewpoints of others who may be in the same situation. With everyone walking different days it can often be difficult for us to communicate with each other so I hope this forum will help us all keep in touch and make us feel less isolated and part of a friendly group with a common interest.

Volunteers had previously contributed to another dog forum but unfortunately we are no longer welcome there, thanks to venomous attacks by a former staff member and a number of trolls who wanted to keep us quiet! Their continual attempts to hijack our threads culminated in two of them being shut down and the ability to post being withdrawn from volunteers without notice or explanation.
