Clogging is a fun American folk dance similar to tap dancing, but with a much more relaxed, bucolic feel. Matt Ellinger and Ian Enriquez of the Barbary Coast Cloggers teach ongoing workshops in clogging for men and women. Our sessions are held on Sundays at the Oberlin Dance Commons in San Francisco (351 Shotwell St. at 17th). You do not need a partner, and no reservations are necessary.

Each of the classes is 2 hours long, stay for all or part of the afternoon!. The first portion focuses on teaching beginning clogging at a nice slow pace. The second portion moves into intermediate and advanced routines and style coaching for those who might be interested in performing. All are invited to participate in whatever portion of the class they choose.
