Welcome to S.E.Triodes. The audio forum were everyone is welcome. We don't care if you're a tube, digital or solid-state aficionado the only requirement of joining this forum is a love of music and/or audio equipment. At present the forum is heavily tube-orientated, but remember everyone is welcome and as more members with digital or solid-state gear start joining the wide variety of the topics already being discussed here will expand even more! As an SETriodes member you're free to post any message that's audio-related including audio items wanted or for sale. If you get a chance please check the links section out. I'm extremely proud of it! I also sincerely welcome any additions you feel should be added.

SETriodes as a forum, doesn't take a stance on the many of the audio debates that are continually discussed in the other audio forums such as Objectivist vs Subjectivist, pro-DBT vs anti-DBT, do all amps sound the same or not, do wires sound different etc. However I, thetubeguy1954 do have opinions on these topics. Just please remember when I post, these are my opinions, they are not SETriodes' policy! Thus they should not be viewed as being carrying more importance or weight than any other post from a SETriodes member's would. That means you'll never get in trouble or banned for disagreeing with any of my opinions, provided it's done in respectful and civil manner like the four rules requires you to respond to any other SETriodes member!

Finally if you're wondering the photo is my actual Italian Mastersound Reference 845 integrated SET amp. It weighs in @ 135 LBS and has 40W/ch! The tube compliment consists of 2 NOS Mazda 6189 "silver-plate" preamp tubes, 2 cryo'd Bendix 6900 "driver" tubes and 4 paralleled single-ended Shuguang 845B output tubes. This amp makes the most beautiful music I've ever heard... thetubeguy1954
