The Siouxland Live Action Association (SLAA) is an organization devoted to running a New World of Darkness game using the rules developed by White Wolf. Primarily, the story currently focuses on the vampires of Sioux City, using the Vampire: The Requiem system as a storytelling tool.

The SLAA egroup was created to provide a forum for group discussion, both in and out of character, and is for SLAA members only. Membership is free, the only requirement is that you attend at least one SLAA event. With this in mind, joining the group is restricted to moderator approval. This is to limit participation in the egroup to players in the game, primarily to keep out spammers, not to restrict actual membership. SLAA events are free and open to the public.
