This is a mailing list for the members of the Barony of the South Downs (the Atlanta, GA chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism). It is not a corporate publication of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc., and does not delineate SCA policies.

This list is not intended to replace or compete with the Tavern Yard (Meridian) mailing list. It is for announcements which pertain to issues, concerns, and announcements germane to the SCA, Kingdom of Meridies, or the Barony of the South Downs. Non-SCA items for sale, events, kitten adoptions, and persistantly off topic comments are not appropriate to the list. Allowances are made for off topics like job postings, jokes, and the pithy sayings that sprout up from time to time.
