The purpose of SOH (Southern Oregon Homeschoolers) is to provide a positive place in which to share homeschool information and resources and to encourage/support one another in our homeschooling adventures while providing our children with social and educational opportunities. The group was formed in 2009 and continues to grow in members and opportunities for homeschoolers in the Rogue Valley.

SOH is open to all homeschool families regardless of reason/method of homeschooling. We all chose this path for a variety of reasons and use many different methods to accomplish our goals. Come join our group, meet some new friends, and share your knowledge with others.

There is a $20/family annual membership fee to join this group. Group membership runs from September - August, though you may join at any time during the year. Membership will provide you access to our yahoo group, parent support meetings, field trips, lego play groups, chess club, bi-annual fairs, various holiday parties, monthly public speaking opportunities, quarterly group birthday parties, and other group sponsored activities and classes. We offer an annual yearbook for purchase at the end of each school year.

In order to have a successful and cohesive group, members are expected to participate in a minimum of 2 group activities/year and assist with at least one event/year. Upon receiving your membership form and $20 fee you will have access to the yahoo group site.
