What is SPEAK...

Sister: a girl or woman who shares a common ancestry, allegiance, character, or purpose with another or others.

Poets: individuals imaginative or creative or who possess great skill and artistry and is able to produce beautiful things

Embracing: accepting ideas, beliefs, or opinions with great interest and enthusiasm

Altruistic: selfless— showing unselfish concern for the welfare of others

Kinship: a close connection marked by community of interests or similarity in nature or character

SPEAK: to express thoughts, opinions, or feelings orally.

SPEAK is a collective of female artists from Atlanta, GA who have united to form an organization designed to enlighten the masses through artistic expression. We are the griots. We tell the tales of the human experience through our poetry, songs, visual artistry, etc… Our means are boundless. Our dedication is to the elevation of consciousness. Our commitment is to utilize our divine gifts as a medium for the message, in hopes that seeds of conscience growth are planted. We draw on the spiritual energy of this collective to promote and elevate.
