University of Dayton Medieval & Renaissance Club

Welcome to the University of Dayton's Medieval & Renaissance Club homepage! As a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism, also known as the SCA, we serve primarily to recreate and reenact certain aspects of the historical periods between 600 and 1600 AD in a number of different cultures.

As a local club, we provide instruction on period fencing, dancing, and costume construction, but we are also interested in a number of other activities. On weekends, we often travel to local SCA events, where our members participate in fight competitions, feasts, archery tournaments, and dances dressed in full period clothing.
