This is group about Tamal Krishna Goswami or Thomas G Herzig (1946 - 2002) a deceased person linked to Hare Krishna Movement. He was secretary to the Founder of the Hare Krishna Founder and based on recordings, witness reports, rumors and audio recordings whispers, was considered as the lead character in the murdering the vapu or the physical body of the Founder in the year of 1977.

Soon after, there was coup that he led within the Movement that removed the Orders of the Founder, changed the philosophy, removed a number of disciples of the Founder, and took over the position of the Founder with others in the coup and began initiating individuals of his own instead of the Founder's.

As a person claiming to hold the position of a sanyassi or renunciate, Secretary, a Commissioner in the Governing Body Commission, and then claiming to falsely be the initiating or diksha guru he held immense resources and power.

ISKCON or the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, the incorporated name of the Movement did very poorly under the regime of Tamal Krishna Goswami, in fact it has been said that he was one of the lead coup people that destroyed the Movement.

On March 15 2002, Tamal Krishna Goswami met with a car accident and died.
