Welcome to the Poetry Corner, now under new management! This is a place for members to share, read, discuss and critique poetry. Joining members should expect to have their poetry critiqued by other members of The Poetry Corner and should be prepared to accept critism. This is a great way to improve your poetry and to get the feel for the group and the poets within it. Discussion is always encouraged, and we hope that members will take the time to get to know one another!

The Poetry Corner is a very interactive community, and we offer monthly contests with graphic awards created by the owner of The Poetry Corner, each month with it's own theme! The message board includes many poetic challenges to those who are interested in taking up challenging new ideas, and we strive to be a great, friendly group!

The Poetry Corner is a strictly moderated group, and incoming members should be aware of this fact. Spamming (any sending of unsolicited and/or unauthorized links to the group -- not just commercial!) the group, including sending a message to more than three people/groups without using the BCC field will result in your account being moderated, and flaming will result in immediate removal from the group. We are based in and founded on, mutual respect and love of poetry.
