Thanks for joining my co-op group!! Here we are able to buy things as a group to
save money! We order in bulk, so that means we have to have several orders
before I can place the order. You will make 2 payments to me for a co-op buy.
The first payment will be the cost of the products you are buying and the cost
of shipping to me. The 2nd will be the cost of shipping to you, which I will
send you a request for AFTER I have the products packaged and weighed for you. I
am always willing to combine multiple purchases for you, you just have to ask!

Here is our new ordering website https://sites.google.com/site/thedaisyco/home
This is where all the information will be on each co-op as well.

A couple older co-ops that are still in the databases are listed on the yahoo
group and here is all the information regarding those few co-ops:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thedaisyco/
Everything is posted in the files & database section of the group.

Here is where is where you can find more information about those things we're
co-oping (this will also include past things)
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thedaisyco/files/

Here is where you put your order. If the database says *OPEN* you can add a
record for your order. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thedaisyco/database

If anyone has any problems figuring any of this out, please let me know!!!

I am open to suggestions and ideas for new co-ops as well!!

I do not mind holding things here so that you can combine shipping with
something else. I'm all about saving money! And I especially dislike paying
shipping!! However, I can only hold things for a 2 week time period. So, if
you're ordering from 2 different buys and one isn't going to be getting here for
another month, I'm going to need you to go ahead and have your items shipped to
you separately.
Also, I cannot have packages sitting here for months on end. I don't have the
room! So, if you have not made a payment or shipping arrangements with me and I
have not heard from you within 30 days of shipping being posted, the package
will be surrendered with NO REFUNDS given. I'm not trying to be mean or take
your items, but I don't have room to store everyone's packages.
Thank you for understanding. :o)

Shipping totals are posted here:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thedaisyco/database?method=reportRows&tbl=15
It is YOUR responsibility to put a record in that database so that I can add
your shipping total.

I think we finally reached the minimum for Frontier, however, the sales changed.
So please check you carts before we order, then let me know when you're done. I
will try to send out totals on Tuesday and hopefully we can order by Wednesday.
If you want to add a new Frontier order, you can. And if you want Tea Tree oil,
put your order in the database here

I'm considering buying a 25lb bag of quinoa flakes from Ancient Harvest and was
wondering if anyone else would be interested. It would be $5 per pound instead
of $8 per pound. Possibly cheaper if we order a lot. That would include shipping
to me, but not shipping to you. And of course if you're local, you can pick it
up. :o)

I opened up a database for the Qunioa flakes here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thedaisyco/database?method=reportRows&tbl=19
And someone else asked, so I thought I'd share. If you haven't use these before, you can make granola, granola bars, cookies, etc. I make Oliver a 'cake' and it's just equal parts applesauce to quinoa flakes. Mix it up and microwave. He LOVES it. And the quinoa doesn't seem to be as strong in flake form. I have some recipes if you're interested. :o)

And for those of you that care or it matters, it's actually the only seed (although most think it's a grain) that is outside the grass family! (The grass family includes wheat, oats, corn, millet, sugar cane, etc) So I was pretty excited to figure that out! It's in the Goosefoot family with beets, spinach & chard.

Checking again. We have about 4 people interested, so 5 including me. Anyone else? With a $1000 minimum we'll need to order lots! And btw, this stuff keeps GREAT in the freezer. Unopened I'm sure it'd be fine out.
If we have a couple more interested, I'll go ahead & open it. Just don't want it to drag on forever. :o)

I called the company (Ancient Harvest) and the quinoa and quinoa flakes are produced in a gluten free facility.
There is a dedicated line for the flakes. The machines are washed with isopropyl alcohol.
The other things that are processed in the facility are: mustard, sesame seeds, and corn.
Hope this helps.  :o)

Okay, I just spoke with the vice president or president of Ancient Harvest. He called me back to tell me this. (And has no idea where the girl got the other information that I sent a little bit ago)
Flakes are done in a facility that ONLY does quinoa flakes. They are washed in a washing type machine with only water (in a facility that does NOTHING but quinoa) to wash the natural saponins (bitter outer coating) off, dried and then sent to the flake facility. The 25 & 50 lb bags come straight out of the plant in Bolivia, so there is no risk of cross contamination with there other products at that point. Their machines are washed with 70/30 isopropyl alcohol, but isn't sure what the ones in Bolivia are washed with, but is going to let me know.
Maybe more than you wanted to know, but some people have to go that far to insure their food is safe.

else wanted anything from this site?
http://www.hazelaid.com/C_Products.html
We can get 20% off if we have at least 10 things ordered.

*Excludes Hazel-Magnetic Bracelets & **Soap Nut Sample Bags do not qualify
towards your ten, but the 20% still applies.

So, you can order anything from their website (see not above) to get to the 10.
And it's just 10 items between everyone. You don't have to order 10. Plus there
is no co-op fee and they will ship directly to you.

Let me know ASAP!
Thanks!

AFTER you place your order, you must respond to this post with what you ordered.

You can order ANYTHING from the site for 20% off. Shipping is direct to you and no extra fees. The discount does apply to everything, including the hazel-magnetic. She said, "...we're in the middle of changing how things go, so not everything on our site is exactly correct." Not exactly sure what that means, but keep that in mind. I would assume pricing is correct though.

*They usually ship within 2 business days and it says 4-6 days to get to you on Average. (The are in Canada) Please make sure to look at shipping costs.  If you're local and you want to ship together, please let me know.  (It's only $3.99 for all orders under $75) Don't place an order on her site if you want to have it shipped to me though.

If anyone is interested, here are the ingredients for the zinc ointment:

Aqua (Canada)
Zinc oxide 18%
Helianthus Annuus (sunflower oil)
Aqua & Corylus Cornuta (Hazelwood extract),
Mangifera Indica seeds
Cetearyl Alcohol & Cetearyl-Glucoside
Lanolin
Beeswax
Polysorbate 20
Tocopheryl Acetate
Water & Magnesium chloride
Magnesium Nitrate & Methyl Isothiazolinone & Methyl Chloro Isothiazolinone.

*Paraben-Free

Just FYI, but my internet is down. and my phone that has limited internet got waterlogged. SO, I'm not going to be online much until that is resolved. SORRY! I called yesterday to cancel our TV service and they cancelled our internet too by mistake. After SEVERAL hours on the phone and them telling me they'd have it on within minutes, I still don't have it and just got an e-mail saying it wouldn't be 'installed' until June 15th. They WILL be getting a call back from me later today as that is completely unacceptable, but I wanted to let everyone know while I had the chance. And I got a shipping notice today from Frontier, so it'll probably be here this weekend.

I am interested in Melissa and Doug coop. I saw some of their products in a
local shop and was excited to see the quality. Whoa are they expensive..., but
with a coop they will hack that price a bit. Thanks for the opp.

$2 co-op fee, 35% off retail (includes shipping to me), then you can either pickup or pay for shipping to you.
This will be a quick one and I'd like to close by next Sat. July 9th, with payments due by July 13th.
Let me know and I'll get the order forms up!

I'm needing to order some, so I figured I'd see if anyone else needed any. :)
However, I'm debating about getting clear pockets for the paper label to go in
instead of getting printable labels, since I can get them slightly cheaper.
Would it be worth the hassle? What do you guys think?
Kristy
