yeah, you don't have to give me the whole background on these meanies, or any.
i'm as big a fan as any, and have been collecting since they've been released.
unfortunately i was out of the scene for a while, a long while, but am back.

i bid on that fangaroo but got outbid last minute. i haven't even seen chubby
on eBay.

i bought a pirate jack, but then found out that the seller was out of stock and
had to get refunded.

a Red Patch Pirate Jack.. number 310 of 1250. Was wondering what a
good price would be for one of these. The only ones I have found in
my web search have been what I would call unreasonable prices, but
then I know little about this one except it was part of a promotion
for a haunted house.
  Any help would be appreciated.

The Red Patch Pirate Jack was actually a limited special edition that
was issued with the Hallowen Bears; the only Halloween Meanies that
were issued. I paid 30 dollars for my first Red Patch Pirate Jack.
There are people looking for Meanies that still say the price is not
important so you will have to just put it on ebay with the reserve
price you want and then decide if you want to sell it for less if you
don't get what you want. Black Patch Pirate Jack was the original
issue of this Meanie and he was indeed given away on Halloween on
Madison Square Gardens Halloween Scare Night. They have always
brought a higher price.

I think it is pretty safe to assume that new Meanies will not be
forthcoming as we have not had any new ones since the issue of the
Holiday 1299 Meanies. Why the production of the Meanies was abruptly
stopped without notice is unknown to us. The Meanies that were
issues make up interesting, amusing and uniques collectibles. I
still enjoy mine....

For some of the early Meanies try richgirl@.... This is

I am sorry, but Yahoo has removed the color for our free use so we
are unable to put color on the group site or change the text. The
same is happening at the OMMC Website. They have removed all
backgrounds and other color; turned all text to black; cut off the
music and removed some photos. It has caused a lot of problems,
especially on the web pages. I am not sure the website can be
repaired to it's original state, but we are working on it. If you
have any questions about the information there please contact me at
eziglar@.... As this is all free we have to use what they
designate as available for our clubs.

Email Neweraworld member at rolf@... and see if he still
has some extra ones of these Meanies. Also check the postings by
ddcubed on ebay. They live in New Jersey and have sold these before.
They may have some still around. Matt Tiger has been very hard to
find from the beginning. We don't know why. Go into sports
collectibles, etc on ebay and look as well as checking in both
Meanie and Meanie listings. They do show up...you just have to check
regularly. Be sure when you are checking that you use their correct
names, such as Stephon Marbury as well as the name of their Meanie.
I have found some of these in sites on ebay that sell sports cards,
etc. Also these little colletibles are now showing up as vintage
collectibles on some antique and collectible shops on the internet.
I have been watching a number of auctions on line and the only
sports editions I have seen lately were Alien Iverson. Will continue
to check for you...

There is a All Star Alien Iverson and also the original Alien Iverson
on ebay right now. When you go to search enter Meanie, not Meanies to
find these. I also noted 3 Tiger Sharks, the promotional Meanie for
Captain Crunch listed on both Meanie and Meanies. The supply was far
short of the demand with this Meanie. Other than that there wasn't
much on auction. Regero was featuring a Pirate Jack Hat and
sunglasses. I am not aware of these being a part of the Meanies
collection. He does sell the authentic hard to find Black Patch Pirate
Jack. He says this hat is part of the Meanie Babies so that would not
be a Meanies collectible if so. Meanie Babies are not connected in any
way to the Meanie Beanies issued by idea factory. For older Meanies

all Meanies, including variations, special editions, sports Meanies
and other Meanie collectibles that are Meanie related contact member

Did you try rolf@.... He may be able to help you.
Meanieworld has a lot of the older meanies but I don't think she has
sports meanies. She will answer when she comes back on line. Just
keep
watching ebay.com and remember to check both Meanies and Meanie as
they are often different. I just purchased a full set of First Issue,
Series 1, known as the plush Meanies that have the tags in ear,
eybrow
front foot. This is a set that it hard to find. You have to check
daily to catch these. Also you might write the 76ers and New Jersey
Nets offices to see if they have any. Some members have been lucky
that way. Matt Tiger has always been the most difficult to find for
some reason. The Meanies at Large rarely show up as a set anymore so
might have to grab them one at a time...Will let you know if I see
any of these....

Burny Bear and Tied the Bear. These were very limited and hard to

Bare Bear with nipples and lips.

Hey have not been in this meanies room in such a long time I had to

The last thing I remember in regards to meanies, was the Meanies At

of the prototypes here in the club.

What ever happened to the Idea Factory and the last 2 series?
Also anyone out there have a full set of all the Meanies including the

Subject: Look For Meanie Variations...
eezee74

If you are still rounding out your Meanie Collection, don't forget
the variations. There are three issues of Series 1 and the Powerpack.
The first issue series !, called the Le Plush has the tag on the
front portion of the Meanie, an ear front leg, eyebrow, etc. idea
changed factories after the first issue. The second issue of Series 1
has the tag fastened in the center of the back. The third Series 1
issue has the tags on the butt, no exceptions here. The Powerpack is
what was left behind when they terminated the first Meanies. These
closely resemble Issue 1, but the hangtag on the inside only
says "collect them All" instead of saying collect them all and get
the 13 one free. The tag is also on the butt in these.

Series two we have two issues of Bare Bear, one with nipples and lips
and one without. Also in Series 2 there is two issues of Peepin' Tom
Cat; one with black pupils, the other with only a red dot.

In the Infamous 2 there is two issues of both Quack Nicholson and
Mallard Stern. One issue has gold or orange legs and the other issue
has red legs that are shorter than the orange legged Meanie. Also in
Infamous 2 Rodmantis has an issue with a black if on its shoes and
another with only a red dot on the shoes.

In Infamous 1 there is a red tie and blue tie Bull Clinton and Buddy
is a lighter color brown than the second issue which is ruddy brown.

Don't forget that there are two issues at different times with
slushy. The 98 version has a red hat band, the second which is a
special limited edition has a plaid red hatband. You have to look
closely to see the difference.

In watching for these variations on auction it is best to write the
seller to determine if the Meanies are marked with what you want. I
noted the other day that both Rodmantis variations are listed. There
has been some leg variation in Mallard Stern and Quack Nicholson too.
The two different Bull Clinton are still there. Buddy is a little
harder to find. The Bear Bare with Nipples and the Peepin Tom Cat
with pupils were not many, so you have to look for those. I think the
1999 special edition Slushy might prove to be the most elusive. The
Meanies at Large were only sold on a pre order deal and that was all
they produced so they will remain hard to find. There are only five
designs in this set.

Don't forget the other things that are collectible, such as dealers
signs, cards and displays, comic book, Cd, etc.

Happpy Hunting!!
