One more possibility Richard Perhaps a larger input capacitor would keep the voltage up on voice peaks?? 73 Pat

Thanks, Pat.  The radio does have silicon rectifiers, and they check out fine.  The really puzzling thing is that all of the voltages in the transmitter

Hello Richard What type of rectifier does the rig use?? A tube rectifier has considerable voltage drop, a selenium rectifier does also. Replacing either with
