Tri-Valley Explorers is an all-inclusive homeschool support group in Northern California. We welcome ALL homeschooling families, regardless of homeschool method, lifestyle or belief. Most of our members live in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Our members use a variety of approaches to homeschooling, i.e., unschooling, eclectic, classical methods, etc. We support and encourage each other through our email list. Our members plan and coordinate our many activities, including park days, classes, field trips, and co-ops -- for toddlers, teens, and everything in between. We also have curriculum swaps, family picnics, and other events.

We speak to all prospective members either in person or by phone prior to approval. We send an introductory email to all who request to join; in order to speed up the approval process, please respond to the email you receive.
