like as the administrator of Pimping designs patrol and a student of
the university of benin, i feel the need to fully discuss the issue of
this ver famous F6 button

The F6 button, like other buttons on the keyboard,is located on the
keyboard (duhh?!) and is part of the standard 12 function keys of the
keyboard.
however, outside its orginal function, we seem to have given it a new
function; making webpage downloads faster. by constantly hitting the
F6 or by pressing and holding the button down, it is assumed that the
page loads a lot faster than it should .

Now my last statemet was myth, in reality it doesn't work that way.
Because cybercafes don't actually have servers, they have recievers
(more or less the same way your T.V recieves signalls from DSTV or ITV
benin)that recieve signalls from their ISP(internet service
providers). the cybercafes job is just to receive the signals and by
networking the many PC's together, the signals are shared amoung the
pcs( here in this area you begin to hear stuff like bandwidth and
other stuff) but basically the speed of browsing is determined by the
rate at which the ISP transmitts signals to the cafes and the quality
of the reception of the cafes equipment.

the +TRUTH+
the truth actually, is quite funny. The F6 button is actually a
keyboard shortcut key to access the address bar without moving your
mouse, Just like F5 is for refresh, F1 is for help,the windows button
and D will bring up the desktop,alt+tab to switch b/w
applications,ctrl + alt + esc to bring up the task manager among
others; all these can be done easily without having to move your mouse
to access those functions. So , in simple english, nothing happens
when you press the F6 button!!!

In doubt?
was expecting you to be...check this. Why is it that the first time
you press the F6 button,the first thing highlighted is the Address bar?!!!

Last note:
if indeed you have a problem with your computer, its best to either
seek professional advice, go to a computer school or read the fucking
manual.

If you visit uniben portal as from the 16th/17th of may, you may
observe that UBP has a new look( new doesn't mean better..its just
different)no graphix and all colors...you can't really blame them after all them
curses they have incurrred.

Now to the technologies...UBP has switched from Coldfusion [CFM]to
Active server Pages [ASP] which I think for benefit of all students,
is a step in the right direction. It's expected that with this new
change, registration will be faster, there will be less (if not
zero) occurences of errors and no more complaints.

ASP...or MSASP as we call it from the dev.'s side, is a web
technology that has defied time and today is a standard in the
industry in terms of speed and rate of content delivery.

With all this...and the usual red tape excesses that Edlink
logistics will come up with, we expect better days....

see posters of an upcoming dance event for this weekend the posters are
eye-catching and the banners,we have never seen it made like dis 4 a show abi?
weeeelllll...let me stop hypeing myself.u all missed my project dance even my
brother nejeeb n i was really xpectin u all or at least some of u led by
nejeeb.i want u all to make up for dat and attend dis one especially at ekenwan
campus cos there wud be an after party and i wud really luv to met some of u cos
i neva got dat chance since its like ugbowo and ekenwan dnt mix. yes its my
