A self-help group and discussion forum for Virginia Highland residents and people interested in the city. List content is geared to matters of interest to the people of Virginia Highland and members are asked to send messages in that spirit. No discussion of national politics is permitted (as opposed to local politics, which are acceptable). Some examples:

> An announcement of a lost pet
> A place for security captains to post alerts
> A place for residents to ask for recommendations for a dishwasher repairman
> A place for residents to announce that they have a wonderful plumber that people should know about
> A place for a teenager to announce that (s)he is available for babysitting
> A place to advertise items for sale or request unused flower boxes.

No advertising by commercial businesses is allowed. However, postings are OK for small, local, neighborhood cottage-industry-type businesses. Please confine announcements about sporting events, activities, arts events, service locations, etc to those that are in or very close to Virginia Highland. If you are an individual posting for-sale items, please consolidate them into no more than one posting per day.
