Wallingford Moms is an informal e-community of parents living in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle. The goal is to connect with each other as parents and as neighbors. Examples of use include coordinating playgroups; announcing neighborhood activities; providing resources regarding childcare, schools, and classes; giving contractor, housekeeper and other recommendations; sharing information about suspicious or criminal activity in the neighborhood; providing tips for things to do or services to try; and in general discussing things of interest and use to families living on Wallingford. Membership in this group requires a referral from an existing member. If you are interested in joining, please e-mail the following: 1. Your full name. 2. A member reference (someone who is already on the list we can contact) 3. Your address (cross streets okay) within Wallingford All of the above is to confirm that you are an actual human parent living in the neighborhood. While recommendations from members about stores and services are welcome, advertisers are not. Unfortunately, we are not able to add people who are interested in moving to the neighborhood; you must already live in Wallingford to be approved. Members are allowed to post SSP (Shameless Self Promotion) on the first of each month and are encouraged to post "for sale" announcements (craigslist, etc.) on the 15th.
