Hi Vicki and Sandra, good to meet you. I'm Wayne, and I live in
Redmond, WA. I'm glad to know you're looking for a group for
Christians in the area, but you might have noticed that the spam in
this particular group is way out of control. It's an unfortunate
result of years of neglect by the group moderators. I responded to
this by creating my own Yahoo Group which operates about the same as
this group, except that new members are automatically placed on
moderation until a moderator is convinced that the new member is a
legitimate person and not a spammer. You can check it out at:

Also, if you ever feel like making it over to the Seattle/Eastside
area, I'm part of a great singles group from Antioch Bible Church
called the Encounter, which meets every Wednesday night for Bible
study and has periodic activities where you can get to know people.

In any case, I hope you all find what you're looking for. God has a
