6:30pm - 7:30pm Beyond Basics/Intermediate Hustle with guest instructors Jim and Jenon.  Liv and Van will be back next Friday to teach the last Hustle lesson for March.  next month is cw 2-step.

 7:30 - 8:30pm     Beginning West Coast Swing  with Jim and Jenon and Liv and Van on alternating Fridays.

            $ 7.00pp per class per person or $ 12.00 for both as Liv and Van are teaching both classes this week.

8:30 - ? Open Dancing to live music by Don Walker.  Don plays a good mix of dance music from swing, cha cha, waltz, 2step and more.

NO LESSONS at GOLDEN LION tonight - Friday, April 6th!

We were just notified at the last minute that there is a private Firemen party tonight in the Golden Lion lounge.   Both the beyond basics and beginning classes at 6:30 and 7:30p are therefore cancelled.     Sorry for the late notice we did not get any advance warning!

The Friday lessons will resume next week! 

Don't forget there is Paul's Mostly Waltz Night tomorrow night at Fred Astaire!   (8-11).

TDC Concert in Anchorage

   Thank you for teaching and promoting our wonderful art form! I'm not sure you
know Thodos Dance Chicago has added a performance at the PAC on the 19th.   The
company has been touring all over the state (nine cities-a first for the state!)
for most of April.  Our work embraces many forms of dance…ballet, modern and
jazz.  Our work is very accessible and appropriate for audiences of all ages. I
hope you can come to the performance, and put the word out to everyone you know
who might be interested.   Your dance school can use the code "DANCE5678" do get
a 50% discount. (you don't have to have seen an ADT performance to get the
discount). The company has received a standing ovation in every Alaska city

WCSA are brining back Luis and Jennifer for another great 3 day week-end of dancing in October.  There will be a dance that Saturday night with a performance by Luis and Jennifer.    They will teach 9 novice and intermediate workshop in west coast swing and a few other dance styles.  The schedule/registration forms will be available soon.   If you are interested in a private lesson we should be able to schedule some Monday or Tuesday following the workshop.  They will be stayin in Anchorage a few days then move on to teach a workshop in Fairbanks the following week-end.
