Whom will you find here: Nambudiri, Nambudirippad, Bhattathiri, Bhattathirippad, Potty, or any other Malayalee Brahmin with illam-ammath culture and the gents wearing a 'poonool'. The spelling may change: from Namboothiri, Nambudiri, Namboodiri, Nambuthiri, Nampoothiri, Nambuthiry, Nampoothiry to Nambudiry. Reference from an existing member is a must to gain entry into this group.

Significance of this group: Earlier days, the undercurrent in Nambudiri community was really strong, as there were plenty of occassions to gather and exchange informations, and also through casual discussions like 'vedivattom'. Today, Nambudiris are getting modernized and are scattered all around the world. Those 'Vaarams, shraadhams and kaalu kazhukichoottu' are no longer enough for exchanging information. We thought a web based e-group connecting youthnambudiris across the globe has its significance in today's world. This is an e-group for vedivattom, discussions, making friends, reconnecting the links that you missed out in the past, and even finding your future lifepartner!

No restrictions on Topics of interest. But use proper, descriptive subject headings for your messages to help them being noticed.
