Hello all
I made my 1st trip to the brewery on Thursday and it was great.
I arrived around 1pm for the 1:30 tour. There wre about twelve of us including
two ladies from Panama. Melanie was our tour guide and as some of you know , we
got the tour of where they brew the beer and the botteling process. That day
they were botteling
Premium light. After that we headed down to the cave, then afterwards to the
bar.
I took several pictures for my own memory, but I believe all of them are already
in the photo section or on the web page www.yuenglingfan.com BTW A great page
for all kinds of information not only about Yuengling, but also the surrounding
area.
If I may suggest, We stayed at a Country Inn and suites off of exit 119 on rte
81.
About 10 miles from the plant. A new hotel with an indoor pool and the rates
were great.
we payed 78 bucks and that included breakfast.
a real deal in these days.
PLUS++++ I was able to hunt down a copy of the 175 news flyer that they use to
give out in the store. I had the girls looking all over for a copy. Melanie
suggested I go down to the republican ( A newspaper in town who actually printed
it for the brewery). They checked their stock and found one.
they had a total of three in the whole office.
Besides the tour we spent mucho bucks in the gift shop and then off to brewers
outlet :)
Thanks to the owners of this club for all the information and for giving us a
place to post our stories.
Now if we can get rid of the other stuff on here :(
