Since a life threatening accident which claimed her right leg on June 11, 2002 -
Theresa has moved on to become an award winning singer/songwriter, healthcare
and disabilities advocate, public speaker, and military entertainer.

In November of 2008, Producer Evan Ginzburg (Associate Producer of "The
Wrestler") and Director Rye Joseph have been teaming up and following her
remarkable journey to a concert on June 11, 2009 which will celebrate the
seventh anniversary of her survival; proving nothing will stop the song in her
heart.

NEW YORK, April 26, 2009- On June 11, 2002 singer Theresa Sareo lay dying on a
street corner in Mid-Manhattan, an innocent victim of an accident caused by an
impaired driver.
 
Losing her entire right leg, she awoke from a coma a week later to begin her
long, hard struggle back. New York Magazine chronicled her inspirational story,
as did Larry King Live.
 
And now seven years to the day of her near fatal tragedy, she appears in concert
on Broadway.
 
Join us in this triumphant celebration as Theresa Sareo, Alive Again on Broadway
comes to the beautiful New World Stages in the heart of the theater district at
340 West 50th on June 11, 2009 for one very special show . The critically
acclaimed singer/songwriter will appear in concert with her 8 piece band
followed by an in-theater after-party, buffet, and meet and greet.
 
Adding to the excitement, the event will be featured in her upcoming documentary
Theresa Sareo- Alive Again, produced by the Associate Producer of The Wrestler,

Join us in this triumphant celebration as Theresa Sareo, Alive Again on Broadway
comes to the beautiful New World Stages in the heart of the theater district at
340 West 50th on June 11, 2009 for two very special shows . The critically
acclaimed singer/songwriter will appear in concert with her 8 piece band
preceded by an in-theater party, buffet with cash bar and post-show meet and
greet.
 
Adding to the excitement, the event will be featured in her upcoming documentary
Theresa Sareo- Alive Again, produced by the Associate Producer of The Wrestler,
Evan Ginzburg in conjunction with Ms. Sareo and director Rye Joseph.
Also appearing on the show, noted singer-songwriter Gregg Swann and legendary
pro wrestler and published poet, Lanny “The Genius” Poffo who will host the
festivities.
Such notables as Nancy Grace have sung Ms. Sareo’s praises: “Your CD, Alive
Again- it’s beautiful…incredible.” Director Jonathan Demme calls Theresa,
“My new hero…”And Secretary of State Hillary Clinton calls Theresa “A
beautiful and courageous woman…a true hero.”
 
Tickets are only $26.50 orchestra and $16.50 balcony including admittance to all
of the evening’s festivities. A very limited number of $100 V.I.P. tickets
will be available for first row seating. All V.I.P. ticket buyers will receive
an on screen credit in the documentary in appreciation of their support. Group
rates (12 or more) are $16.50 for orchestra seating and available through

About Theresa Sareo Alive Again Documentary/Concert Project:
Theresa Sareo travels nationwide meeting with wounded warriors from the Iraq and
Afghanistan wars; she is also a motivational speaker and performs regularly in
clubs, educational settings, and for the military. Evan Ginzburg is the
Associate Producer of The Wrestler starring Academy Award Nominee Mickey Rourke.
