So Nu presents the vibrant, raucous sounds of classic Eastern European klezmer with touches of Balkan folk music and tango. Members of So Nu (Matthias Groh on fiddle, Karin Ludewig on clarinet, David Madden on accordion, Ron Caswell on tuba, and Mathias Kunzli on percussion) have performed throughout North America and Europe. Fans of the Klezmatics, Frank London and Slavic Soul Party should check out this acclaimed new participant in New York's klezmer scene. So Nu released their self-titled debut in 2008.
