I have decided to sell my 7' adjustable Triangle loom and stand. Solid oak,
immaculate condition, used once. Reason for selling is twofold:1) I want to
concentrate more on floorloom weaving (decided that warping my loom is not
really so onerous after all) and 2) the shawls made on this loom, even at
maximum width, look small on me. I am 5'10", with very broad shoulders, and
would need at least a 9' loom -- if you account for takeup. Such a loom
would be impractical. I think anyone of normal height would find the
shawls perfectly fine. So there it is. The loom itself is really nice
Price 350$ this includes all the extras: a video, a book of projects, the
shed separator, and the locker hook. New, the whole thing after the recent
price increase would be over 400$.
I can deliver this loom to VT Sheep and Wool, or to Rhinebeck, or within 100
miles of Albany, NY and would prefer to handle the transaction this way
rather than shipping (I have no idea how to get ahold of boxes long enough
for this loom). The above price does not include shipping and/or packing
expenses, should I have to ship it to you.
Carolyn D., too much equipment, not enough time.
