Thank Bill McNeal and help dreams come true by participating in the Superintendent's Leadership Scholarship campaign. These one-time scholarships are being given in recognition of Bill McNeal and in honor of his leadership and service to the children of Wake County Public School System ......
Please consider joining businesses, teachers, principals, faith communities and citizens of Wake County in thanking Bill McNeal for his contributions and dedication to the Wake County Public School System through a donation to the Superintendent's Leadership Scholarships Fund. This fund has been set up for the sole purpose of recognizing Bill McNeal upon his retirement from the WCPSS through the establishment of eighteen one-time scholarships that will be given to a 2006 graduating senior from every single public high school in Wake County. The criteria for this leadership scholarship is taken from Bill's favorite story, The Wizard of Oz. Those criteria are academics, character, courage and community service.
You are encouraged to make any size donation that you'd like - as long as it is $5 or more. We would love to see at least 500 PTA members participate in this effort, so our focus is on participation - not the size of your gift. Your gift will be 100% tax deductible and 100% of it will go directly to the scholarships.
Contributions can be made in two ways.
