57th Prayer for Kartarpur Corridor
Kartarpur ( Ravi ) Darshan Abhilakhi Sanstha headed by Jathedar Kuldip Singh Wadala of Jalandhar held a mammoth prayer rally on the Indo-Pak border on Nov 2. Every amawas, masia the day of moonless night the Sanstha conducts a peaceful march from the border town of Dera Baba Nanak to Dhussi Bann on the Indo-Pak border and prays to Almighty God to bestow good sense on the rulers of India and Pakistan to allow Sikh pilgrims to visit the border shrine Kartarpur. Kartarpur is just 2.5 km from border in Pakistan . Kartarpur is considered as a universal shrine as an Islamic tomb and a Hindu style memorial of Guru Nanak exist side by side at Kartarpur while interestingly a third tomb exist on the Indian side.
This was 57th prayer of the Sanstha in succession. Jathedar wadala told mediamen that his organisation will very shortly go to Pakistan with the relief material for quake hit victims of Kashmir in Pakistan .
