Subject: All American Tribute on Sept. 11th
Our event will pay tribute to the heroes and victims of 9/11. The tribute begins with a Color Guard presentation and the National Anthem. This patriotic event will include the “American Ride” car show featuring American “classic” and “muscle” cars dating pre 1970. There will be live music, dancing, remote control car racing, golf simulator, raffle with great chances to win amazing prizes, a parade of gourmet food trucks, vendor booths & more. Event time is 3:00pm to 7:30pm. An optional prayer service for 9/11 victims will be held at 3:00pm. See the attached flyer for details.
We would LOVE to have a more broad military presence at our event. Any military vehicles that could be displayed would add a huge amount of patriotic value and excitement for the participants. We would be happy to provide free food and entry to the event for any of your members that can display their vehicles or equipment. We are most grateful for the interesting collection that your group can provide! This event is open to the general public and we anticipate having between 500 and 600 participants. We just need to know in advance the names of your members and type of equipment they might bring so we can plan our exhibit area. By the way, we understand that this is the same day as the Chargers game . . . Our event begins about the time the game ends :)
Thank you for your feedback!
