Here are our plans for Thursday evening, Jan. 3rd at Copa - The
Memorial service to celebrate Sony's Life will start at 8:00 p.m.
till 9:00 p.m. and during this time I will be providing Deli type
Sandwiches, Chips, Cheese Trays, Fruit Trays (plenty for up to 200
individuals including over 200 different types of Cookies. If anyone
would like to bring another kind of side dish they are more than
welcome to. Also, if anyone would just like to donate cash for all
of the food I will be bringing they would just need to ask for me and
any donation will be greatly appreciated since this is all coming out
of my pocket. Also, I do not want anyone to feel like they are
obligate to donate so I will not be asking anyone for help. This is
just via word of mouth.
During the 8:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m., time frame we will we showing a
video of Sonya's Life from early child hood, right up until her
death. Sonya's Daughter is putting this video together with pictures
she has of Sonya's and Sonya's family and friends. We will also
have music playing in the background.
Also, we will be able to have the salsa dancing lessons going on
maybe starting as early as 8:30 p.m. (I'm guessing, as we could see
who everything is going once set up and showing the video slide show
Then, "The Brew" will start playing at their regular time which I
believe is 9:30 p.m. or 10:00 p.m.

Sundays Austin American Statesman with a very nice picture of Sonya
and a nice write up. In the write up it does state the following

Sonya Rae Galeana
Sonya, 39, succumbed to cancer on the evening of December 25th,
2007. She was born in San Jose, CA on August 11th, 1968 to Jeanie
and Terry Langley, Sonya leaves behind her daughter, Tabitha Galeana,
her mother and her father. She spend several years working as an

Church, 1504 E. 51st St., Austin on Thursday, January 3rd at 4:00 p.m.
