Great sightings and thanks for sharing the list..
On the Lesser Kestrels, isnt it possible that some of the Lesser
Kestrels actually winter in India and are not necessarily on passage.
In Periyar Tiger Reserve, Kerala - there are two sightings of small
groups during end Jan/early Feb in back to back years (2008 & 2009) by
different birder groups - one of the birds seen in 2009 was also
photographed. However, observations were not continued further to
establish how long the birds stayed there.
I dont know about Gujarat, but just a thought.
