For me it would have to be "Of Mice and Men" in 10th Grade. Miss A was
one of the teachers after whom I have modeled my teaching. I loved her
I still remember one line from the book. It's the most off-the-wall
thing, but my husband and I will just spout this line out of the blue
and it always makes us giggle.
"Tell about the rabbits..."
So, as you can see, this book you name doesn't have to move you in some
profound way (although, it certainly could). But why do you remember
it after all this time?
