We are planning open days on Saturday July 21 (end of soft fruit main season) and Saturday October 13, (Peak of the top fruit season) so people can look round the garden, have some conversation as to how and why, and un update on considerable progress made in the last year, and meet like minded people. As in the past the open times are 11-4, and we will provide salad and hot food. We do ask people to make a donation (recommended amount ten pounds per person).
There will be plants (catalogue available upon request) and books for sale. 50% of the profits will be donated to our chosen charity- Friends of African Nursing.
We have two other open days planned this year for specific groups on Saturday May 12 (this coming Saturday) with James Chapman’s current Permaculture course, and on Sunday June 24 with Borders Organic Gardeners. There are a lesser number of spaces to join these afternoon sessions.
If you wish to come do tell us whether you are vegetarian, vegan or omnivore (anything more complicated than that and we’ll leave you to it!), how many will be in your party and whether we can assist organise lift share. Directions will be sent to those who respond.
If you no longer wish to be on this e-mail list do tell us and your name will be deleted!
