By comparison, I hop across the cottage on the US side of the border,
get list minus 25% and when I bring it across the border back to Canada
and declare it. I don't pay for taxes and they don't ding me for duty.
Even with the gas, bridge tolls, custom crossing and US exchange
rate, I still am ahead, get better selection and service than from my
Canadian LHS. Sure I don't get all of the Canadian road stuff, but then
again I model the Rutland, I don't need much of it.
